Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for the physical design, creation, and maintenance of the company's databases. These responsibilities include installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the databases through careful analysis, development, and tuning.

Background Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
  • Microsoft MCSE and SQL certification
  • SAN Management experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL server including the following: installation and configuration, stored procedures/transact SQL, backup/restore methodologies, log shipping and replication, performance troubleshooting, IO tuning including RAID configuration and IO isolation techniques, SQL reporting and custom queries, and SQL clustering.
